I’ve been wanting to do this personal project about San Francisco for a long time now.

And when I got the Glidecam HD 4000, I thought it’s a perfect timing to go and do some tests shots over at San Francisco. Luckily my friend, Shawn aka “The Walking GPS”, knows his way around the area.

Let me take you again through the quick culmination of our trip through my lens, shall we?

What do you think?

Now let me take you behind the scenes and experience the trip a bit with us:

DAY ONE

We wasted no time and we went to Treasure Island & Golden Gate bridge by Vista Point. Sun was out and it wasn’t as foggy–it was a nice day. Later on, we went to Torpedo Warf and did some timelapse.

Behold THE Golden Gate Bridge. Probably the most photographed area in SF.

DAY TWO

Back at Vista Point, I planned to do more timelapse shots in the morning but due to the fog, I was not able to do so.

Silent Hill-esque, anyone?

But no matter, we figured to go to the next location and we went to the Sea Rocks by the Cliff House restaurant. There I took some shots of the wonderful sea fauna and there I tested my new Glidecam HD 4000.

It was a challenge getting a stable shot because the wind and the sand makes my movement a bit unstable, though. But after a couple of takes (maybe at least 10 times) I got a decent shot that I was able to use on the video.

DAY THREE

Our last day there. We wanted to make the most of everything and here are some of the highlights, see if you can recognize some of the places we went to:

You know, there are so much in this city that make me want to come back over and over again. I just love the weather, the scenery, the food, the tourists, sunrise, sunsets… I could go on and on!
