We get ya! Unless you’re a model or a celebrity, it’s not like you’re being filmed and photographed by pros every day, right?
That’s why it’s critical that we build a relationship with you – even before you decide to work with us. We’ll be meeting you over a casual FaceTime chat and investing time in getting to know your preferences and personality. If we feel that we’re a good match – you can go ahead and book us. Compatibility is a two-way street – so we want to ensure that you’re as comfortable with us, as we are with you.
Because comfortable, happy people are the most photogenic + telegenic people for us to work with. (And our inner perfectionists won’t allow us to work with anyone who is not comfortable with us.)
If you want to “test drive” us before the big day – we have engagement film sessions available as ice-breakers. By the time your wedding day rolls around, we’ll be BFFs and you’ll be more camera-confident than ever before.

Can you film our small wedding? / Can you just film our ceremony and/or reception?
Yes and no.
We also filmed a small wedding but with our style of filming, we combined their engagement film with their ceremony to have incredible content for a full heirloom film. Experience it here.
However, if you’re looking for camera operators for ceremony only or reception only footage, we’re not for you. This is because we wouldn’t have much content to work with to create a great cinematic film.

Our biggest concerns about hiring wedding filmmakers are, first, the cost of services and not knowing what was going to come out of it, and, second, the ability of the filmmakers to deliver our vision with creative flair and create a unique, natural and great quality memory of our special day.
But the experience you provided us with over the three days we spent together, as well as the amazing final products that came out of the filming made the expense worth it! Who picks the music?
We do! This is because we will license the music to avoid copyright infringement and also make sure that the music will complement the feel of your wedding day without sounding outdated after 10 years. If there is a specific song that’s very meaningful for you and it will definitely fit your day, let us know and we’ll see if we can license it!

Our wedding is 10 hours long - will we get a 10-hour video?
No and no. We are a short-form film squad – so that means we don’t capture every second of your day (like a CCTV) – we only capture the moments you will care about.
Here’s a different way to think about it:
Hollywood takes 10-12 months (or more) to shoot a film – then whittle all those footage down into a compelling movie that’s just 1.5 hours long. That’s what we’ll do with your film. We’ll take the very best moments of your day, and we will thoughtfully edit it down to create a non-boring, meaty-yet-digestible, beautiful wedding film.
The final highlight film is usually 4-6 minutes long. Want something longer? You can book the 10-15 minute Feature Film or the Documentary-style film that is 45-120 minutes long within 5 months of your big day – so you don’t miss any of the fun toasts and the full ceremony. (Our couples love them!)

Do you offer a raw-footage only package? / Can you include the raw footage as well?
No, we don’t. Because the full power of your film experience with us is not just in our shooting but in our lead editor Dax’s magician-level editing.
Asking for “raw” footage from our cameras is like asking for raw beef at a burger shop. It’s kinda gross. (And eating it will give you really bad runs.)
Instead, what we’d want you to experience is an out-of-the-world gourmet burger with a fried goat cheese topping. Mmm-hmm.
That’s what we’re doing with our fully edited, gorgeous films. We’re giving you the best possible experience in exchange for your investment with us.
If there’s a special moment that we absolutely should not miss – tell us in advance and we’ll add it to your films instead. Capiche?

When will you deliver our film/s to us?
You will be able to enjoy your 4-6 minute Highlight film online 90 days after your wedding, and if you’ve ordered the longer films will take no later than 8-10 months. We do take our time creating and polishing your films – because this is for your family’s heirloom – and heirlooms are not built in a day. :)
If you’d like a faster turnaround, we do offer V.I.P. rush editing (all films done in 1 month after your wedding) and Same Day Editing add-ons (Highlight film done on your wedding day).

If we haven’t worked with your photographer yet, we’ll take the time to get in touch with them a few days or weeks before your wedding so we can get to know their concerns and create a game plan together. Easy!
