At first glance, Jessa and Eric’s individual natures look like they are world’s apart: She’s the convivial jokesmith who infects people with belly laughter, and he’s the reserved wunderkind who planned to serve as a priest.

Yet, their golden hearts are sparked and glued by the same thing: pure love, faith, and respect for each other.

Their story began way back in the Philippines, where the nationally awarded quiz champ decided to change class sections and by God’s will…found her, the intriguingly dynamic cutie. His feelings stayed throughout five years, loving from afar at first, then became fatefully reciprocated after graduation.

Eric’s feelings remained so strong that even when Jessa moved to the States, he uprooted himself from the opportunities back home and followed her. Here, they trudged through the difficulties of braving the difficult years of being grad students who lived off instant food…to now being the engineers who travel around the world to savor great food and architecture.

They may be different at first, but with the journeys and dreams they have achieved together, they are mirrors of each other’s hearts and souls that inspire and gain real friends out of strangers everywhere they go.
